Best Science & Education Blog Finalist
Brilliant news! The finalists of Blog Awards Ireland were announced on Saturday night and Science Calling is one of them. This blog was listed alongside 5 others in the ‘Best Science & Education’ category. I was shocked at the number of blogs nominated back in August… 45 in this category alone. I’m absolutely delighted to make the final 6!
Other ‘Best Science & Education Blog’ finalists are 21stcenturynaturalist, Bantry Geography, Picture S , SCC English and University Diary.
Congratulations to all finalists in particular Inside the Brain in the ‘Best Health/Wellbeing Blog’ category. The author, Prof. Billy O’Connor, was a contributor in my Science +1 series last May.
The awards take place on 13th October so I’ll have to dust off the ole gúna. Thanks once more for your encouragement and support since Science Calling began in June 2011. Go science!!
