Science in the Sunday Times

Science has infiltrated the Sunday Times. My plans for world (science) domination are slowly rolling into place.

Firstly, apologies for the lack of posts over the last month. A holiday from writing was needed to recuperate after my year-long intensive masters in journalism.

Today’s newspaper was the second edition of the Sunday Times I’ve worked on since jumping into the newsroom near the start of July. Over the next few weeks I hope to bring lots of science and health stories to the editor’s desk. To aid this ambition, give me a shout if you have any new research being published or other news stories.

Dara Ó Briain

I’ve spent a lot of time chatting to fascinating scientists in order to research pieces and find out what’s happening in the Irish science world. As a result, there are many blog posts in the pipeline. Now I just need a spare few hours to write them!

The Sunday Times has been brilliant so far. Two of my pieces have featured in the news pages each week (check out my health & environment stories today). Also, I’m absolutely delighted that an interview I did with Dara Ó Briain, who is talking part in next week’s Festival of Curiosity, is on the cover of this week’s Culture Magazine.

Go Science!!
