Touring Europe for conference season

It is conference season on Science Calling and I will be covering three major science events over the coming month. It will be an exciting few weeks where I’ll be bringing you new research and interesting discussions from top scientists across the globe.

Schedule

09 November – Liveblogging at Falling Walls, Berlin – #fw12

Each year, 20 of the world’s leading scientists are invited to Berlin to present their current breakthrough research. I’m liveblogging on the Falling Walls Blog, keeping people up to speed with announcements and exciting research.

11 & 12 November – Workshop at Spot On London – #solo12 & #solo12twitter

SpotOn London brings together science policy, outreach and tools in a two day event which includes keynotes, discussion sessions and workshops. I’m tweeting from the sessions and hosting a workshop: ‘Using Twitter as an effective means of science engagement’.

09 December – Liveblogging at Nobel Week Dialogue, Stockholm – #nwd12

The theme for the 2012 Nobel Week Dialogue is The Genetic Revolution and its Impact on Society, a choice partly inspired by the fact that 2012 marks the 50th anniversary of the award of the 1962 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine to Francis Crick, James Watson and Maurice Wilkins for their discovery of the molecular structure of DNA..
